Werris Creek based Liverpool Plains Shire Councillor Paul Moules has welcomed the announcement that the Piallaway Philatelic Society’s 1st Stamp, Coin and Collectibles Fair will be held at Werris Creek Railway Institute Hall on April 22 and 23.
“LPSC has taken on the role of custodian of the former Railway Institute building and would like to see it become an important community asset utilised for various types of events,” Councillor Moules said.
“The Stamp, Coin and Collectibles Fair has the potential to bring visitors to Werris Creek. Apart from the stamps and coins there will be China, vintage toys, glassware, jewellery, railway memorabilia, postcards and books. The entry fee will only be $2 so locals will be able to afford to go and have a look,” he said.
“People interested in being stallholders at the event or requiring more information can contact 0434 027 927 or email email@example.com,” he continued.
“Any individual or group who would like to utilise the Railway Institute as a venue can contact LPSC during business hours on (02) 6746 1755 for further details,” Councillor Moules concluded.
