Manager Customer and Information Services

 

Liverpool Plains Shire Council is currently partnering with Leading Roles to recruit a Manager Customer and Information Services to lead a program of bespoke IT solutions to deliver on Council’s organisational and customer service goals.


Reporting to the Director Corporate and Community Services, the Manager Customer and Information Services will play a key role in leading a substantial change project with organisational performance and community outcomes as the goals. The change project will include the integration of contemporary, customer orientated systems and culture into the organisation.

Information and Business Systems Coordinator

Liverpool Plains Shire Council is currently partnering with Leading Roles to recruit an Information and Business Systems Coordinator to support the implementation of a new corporate business system and oversee Council’s records and information management.

Council is seeking an experienced, dynamic and innovative Communications and Media Officer who will be responsible for enhancing Council’s public image, publicising activities and community awareness of Council’s services, projects, events and activities through effective communications and public relations materials and methods.

The Communications and Media Officer will:
• Coordinate Council’s print and online advertising, including public notices and statutory advertising.
• Maintain and enhance Council’s social media accounts by developing/sourcing media-rich content (e.g. video, tiles, infographics), responding to queries, creating promotions and online events.
• Script, film, edit and produce engaging video content for Council’s social media accounts.

Council is seeking an experienced Health and Building Surveyor who will be responsible for leading Council’s public health and certification functions, including building and fire certification, all activities undertaken by the principal certifier. Ensuring an efficient, timely, customer centric and proactive service is provided.

The Health and Building Surveyor will:
• Undertake certification work within level of accreditation issued by the Building Professionals Board, inclusive of Construction, Compliance, and Occupation Certificates
• Undertake planning assessment of non-complex development applications received by Council
• Issue Complying Development Certificates in accordance with delegations and level of accreditation
• Issue Fire Safety Schedules and carry out compliance inspections
• Assess storm water and erosion control associated with building sites
